The NordicScan app
Scan food and cosmetics. Free food Scores. See what’s flagged.
Scan food and cosmetics. Free food results show the overall 0–100 NordicScan Score and band, the top two concern names and severity chips, driver counts, and every high-severity flag. Premium unlocks exact per-concern scores, named drivers, product-specific reasoning, and source receipts. Cosmetic scans provide ingredient analysis without Scores. When a product is new to the database — an ingredient analysis built in minutes, usually within minutes. Ingredient information for consumer research, not medical advice.
Launch status
Launching August 15, 2026.
App Store and Google Play links go live once the app is approved. There's nothing to sign up for here yet — check back near launch, or read how the method works in the meantime.
The app shows the ingredient picture and the reasons behind each flag — not just a verdict.
What you get
The reasons, not just a flag.
Scan groceries, snacks, skincare, and cosmetics in one ingredient scanner. Food results include the NordicScan Score; cosmetic scans provide ingredient analysis without Scores.
Premium unlocks the why: exact per-concern scores, named drivers, product-specific reasoning, and source receipts — what our published method flagged and the signals behind it.
Your scan flags highly processed ingredients and shows a product's processing level under our published method.
Hit a product the database hasn't seen yet? Snap the label and we build the ingredient analysis — usually within minutes — instead of a dead-end "no result."
Reads messy real-world labels so you don't have to type them out.
When the data is thin, the app says so. A clear "can't tell" beats a confident guess.
While you wait for launch
Start with the evidence.
The ingredient library and concern topics are publishing now. They answer the ingredient question the app will bring to the shelf.
